What I did in Cancun
:Major construction. After Hurricane Wilma, the hotels on the east side of the Hotel zone suffered lots of damage. Most of the beach was washed away. Below is a picture of the "Beach restoration" project that was underway while we were there. Wilma left her mark all over town including many washed out or eroded sidewalks
To the right is the hole that Terre broke his toe in. Please note there are now TWO 2x12 boards covering it... this "safety precaution" happened about 4 days after Terre's accident.
Walking along the beach proved to be challenging, but well worth the struggle. The waves along the Gulf were magnificent.
What every City needs! Their logo in the reflective sheeting on their signs!
